Elevatech Summit London 2.0: The Ownership Era Has Begun
On Saturday 8th August 2026, something phenomenal happened in London.
Elevatech Summit London 2.0 took place at Magdalen Hall, Tower Bridge — and from the moment the doors opened at 11:45am to the final networking session that closed the evening, it was clear that this was not just an event. It was a movement stepping fully into its next chapter.
The hall was packed beyond capacity. Attendees stood at the back rather than leave. The energy in the room was electric. And the conversations that took place between 12:00pm and 4:30pm on that Saturday afternoon will be felt in careers, businesses, and communities for a long time to come.
This is the story of what happened. And why it matters.
From Breaking in to Owning the Table
The first edition of Elevatech Summit London in 2025 was built around a single, powerful idea — that there should be a room in the UK where people from underrepresented backgrounds could access the conversations, connections, and community that their peers in more privileged networks took for granted. It worked. People showed up. Careers shifted. And the demand for Edition Two was instant and overwhelming.
But Elevatech Summit London 2.0 was not simply a repeat. It was an evolution.
This year’s theme — The Ownership Era: Build. Invest. Lead. — signalled a deliberate shift in the conversation. Elevatech has always been about access. But access is just the beginning. The next chapter is about what you build once you are in. It is about equity. Ownership. Wealth. Legacy.
That is the conversation that filled Magdalen Hall on 8th August. And the community that showed up was ready for every word of it.
The Speakers Who Delivered
Thirteen speakers took the Elevatech stage across a programme that was designed to be practitioner-led, honest, and genuinely useful. These were not motivational speakers hired to fill a slot. They were people who had lived the journey — and came to share exactly what they had learned along the way.
Francis Osifo, CEO of Rayda and Y Combinator alumnus with over $47 million raised in venture funding, opened the summit with the keynote “The State of Ownership” — a sharp, unfiltered examination of what it means to move from employee to owner in the technology economy. It set the tone for everything that followed.
The panel session “How I Got Here” was one of the most talked-about moments of the day. Five speakers — Temiloluwa Ojo of Bloomberg’s AI team, Chidinma (Dinma) Aniugbo of Monday.com, Emma-Jane Stogdon of Wise, Emmanuel Igbodudu co-founder and CTO of Waza, and moderated by Deborah Dada, Product Designer at Clearscore and Elevatech Summit London Program Manager — sat on stage and told the truth about their careers and journey. The breakthroughs, the barriers, the moments of doubt, and the decisions that changed everything. The Q&A that followed went well over time because the audience simply was not ready to stop asking questions.
The fireside chat “The Corporate Ladder” brought together Olajumoke Adigun, Product Marketing Manager at Recruitics, and career coach and lawyer Ifeoluwa Omotosho, in a conversation that spoke directly to the professionals in the room who are navigating corporate careers while quietly building toward something bigger.
Chukwudum “Chuks” Chukwuedo, Data and AI Manager at Accenture, ran a live vibe-coding session on Artificial Intelligence for Professionals that demystified AI and showed the room exactly how to use it as a career accelerant rather than a threat.
Richard Okunola, Chartered Accountant and financial educator, delivered the spotlight talk “UK Finance Made Easy: Taxes, Credit Scores, Budgeting, Side Hustles, and Starting a Business” — a session that drew some of the loudest reactions of the day because it addressed the practical financial realities that most events in this space never touch.
The summit closed with a masterclass on “The Social Media Economy”, facilitated by Alabi Lawrence, known as @the_lawrenz. He unpacked the real opportunities available to professionals in the social media and creator economy — and sent the room home with a completely different perspective on what their online presence could do for their careers and businesses.
Throughout the day, Victor Asanmi, Senior IAM Analyst at Experian and founder of Inyotta Analytica, held everything together as host — bringing energy, structure, and warmth to every transition in the programme.
The Moments That Stayed
Beyond the sessions and the speakers, Elevatech Summit London 2.0 was full of moments that no agenda can capture.
It was the attendee who had come all the way from Scotland by flight and told a volunteer at the door that they had been following Elevatech since the first edition and had been saving up for this ticket. It was the networking activity that turned a room of strangers into a room of people genuinely excited to know each other. It was the standing ovations that erupted without warning during the panel. It was the queue that formed at the jollof station that confirmed, once and for all, that Elevatech does not do boring.
And it was the overflow. The fact that every seat in Magdalen Hall was taken and people chose to stand at the back rather than leave. That is the clearest signal of what Elevatech Summit has become.
